Cosy and comfortable apartment in the suburban western area of Vienna. The apartment (approx. 220 sqm) comprises 8 rooms, 2 bathrooms, separate kitchen, laundry room, a large veranda and should be ideal both for families and seniors (1st floor).
The residence has 2 double-bedrooms, 2 children's room, yet more sleeping space could be easily arranged. There is a large living room with a separate workspace and a big dining room.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe, all local facilities (markets, bakery..) are in walking distance.
Since metro is very close, you can reach the center of Vienna in 25 min.; yet it will take you 15 min by car to be in the green fields outside of Vienna.

For those who don't know Vienna: it is a million people city in the heart of Europe, elected twice as "most livable city in the world". It is full of various cultural (music, arts, theater, festivals) and recreational opportunities and has a pleasant climate during summer times.
Periphery of Vienna caters for all tastes, like biking through wine yards, hiking through pre-Alps or swimming in lakes.
Salzburg is 3 hours trip away, likewise Prague and Budapest. Bratislava (Capital of Slovakia) can be reached by boat in 1 hour. High Alpine regions can be reached within 2 hours. Since public transport is quite fully developed all major destinations can be done by train as well. Vienna has an international airport with regular destinations to Europe, US and Asia.

I am Michael and for quite some time engaged as research and technology manager in the public sector. Kathy, my wife, is manager of public relations in a cultural institution in Vienna. We have two fabulous kids, Fanny (5) and Moritz (9), who would love to exchange their rooms with other children.
